The starting point of the Tech to Teach project is, with the pandemic, the realization of the lack of knowledge and practice in technology and its dominant role in the field of education, as in other disciplines in the future.

The Tech to teach project aims to discover innovative applications in the digital age by collaborating with different education stakeholders and to improve the technological competencies of the teaching staff from various branches and schools who cannot follow technological developments so that they can train active learners who can control their learning inside and outside the school. In this way, a guide will be created for teachers about developing their skills in using technology in both distance and face-to-face education practices and activating students with technology-based active learning. This guide will include the theoretical framework of digital and technological education, literacy and thinking skills in technological education, integrating technology into lessons, creating a technological unit/lesson plan, and innovative assessment methods for active learners in technological education.

The expected results of the Tech to Teach project;

-To improve teachers' use of technology and their competence in Technology-Based Active Learning,

- To support teachers' use of the most innovative technological teaching tools,

- To prepare a guidebook for teachers to use in their professional life,

- Increasing the attractiveness of schools and reducing dropout rates,

-To provide cultural awareness to the project partners and their stakeholders with a multicultural working environment that will be created during the project. -To encourage foreign language learning for the project partners to communicate effectively.

Tech to Teach projesinin çıkış noktası pandemiyle birlikte teknoloji konusundaki bilgi ve uygulama eksikliğinin fark edilmesi ve gelecekte diğer alanlarda olduğu gibi eğitim alanında da teknolojinin başat rol oynayacağının anlaşılmasıdır.

Tech to Teach projesiyle farklı eğitim paydaşlarının iş birliğini sağlayarak dijital çağdaki yenilikçi uygulamaları keşfetmek, teknolojik gelişmeleri takip edemeyen farklı branş ve okul türünde görev yapan öğretim kadrosunun okul içinde ve dışında kendi öğrenmelerini kontrol edebilen etkin öğrenenler yetiştirebilmeleri için teknolojik yeterliklerini iyileştirmeyi hedeflenmektedir. Bu sayede öğretmenler için hem uzaktan hem de yüz yüze eğitim uygulamalarında teknoloji kullanma ve teknoloji tabanlı aktif öğrenme ile öğrencilerin aktif hale getirme becerilerini geliştirme konusunda bir rehber oluşturulacaktır. Bu rehberde dijital ve teknolojik eğitimin teorik çerçevesi, teknolojik eğitimde okuryazarlık ve düşünme becerileri, teknolojinin derslere entegre edilmesi, teknolojik ünite/ders planı oluşturma ve teknolojik eğitimde aktif öğrenenler için yenilikçi değerlendirme yöntemleri yer alacaktır.

Tech to Teach projesinin öngörülen sonuçları

-Öğretmenlerin teknoloji kullanımını ve Teknoloji Tabanlı Aktif öğrenme konusunda yeterliliklerini geliştirmek.

- Öğretmenlerin en yenilikçi teknolojik öğretim araçlarının kullanımını desteklemek.

- Öğretmenlerin meslek yaşamlarında kullanmaları için bir rehber kitap hazırlamak.

- Okulların çekiciliğini artırmak ve okulu terk oranlarını azaltmak.

-Proje süresince oluşacak olan çok kültürlü bir çalışma ortamı ile proje ortaklarında ve onların paydaşlarında kültürel farkındalık sağlamak. -Proje ortaklarının etkili bir iletişim kurmaları için yabancı dil öğrenimlerini teşvik etmektir.
